Glow Pact: 75 Day Reset

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Glow Pact (formerly known as Hypna AI) app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Computer go beep AB (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Commercial service. This service is intended for use "AS IS". On Google Play, this Application is published under the package name com.gbroman.easyloss.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as

  • Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
  • The time spent on the Application
  • The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device. The Service Provider may use your IP address to determine your approximate geographical region for analytics and content personalization purposes. No GPS or fine-grained location data is collected.

The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.

For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to age, gender. The information that the Service Provider request will be retained by them and used as described in this privacy policy.

Health and Fitness Data

The Application offers an optional integration with the health platform on your device: Apple Health (through the Apple HealthKit framework) on iOS and Health Connect on Android. This integration is turned off by default. The Application asks for access only after you choose to connect, either during onboarding or later from the app's settings, and you can skip or decline it and still use the rest of the Application. Access is based on the consent you give through the platform's permission screen, and you can withdraw that consent at any time as described below.

The specific health and fitness data the Application accesses on your device is:

  • Step count: read from Apple Health (HealthKit) or Health Connect to display your daily activity progress and to mark step-based goals as complete. With your separate permission, step counts that you enter manually in the Application are also written back to the health platform.
  • Body weight: written to the health platform when you enter a weight value manually in the Application, so your records stay consistent across your apps. The Application does not read body weight from the health platform.

The Application requests only the data it needs for these features and does not access other health or fitness data types.

Your daily step totals are stored under your account on the Service Provider's backend, hosted by Supabase, so your progress is available across your devices. For each day, the Service Provider stores the step value, the date, the unit, and which source the value came from. Body weight that you enter is written to the health platform on your device and is governed by that platform's own privacy controls, so it is not stored on the Service Provider's backend.

Health and fitness data obtained through Apple Health (HealthKit) or Health Connect is used solely to provide the features above inside the Application. The Service Provider keeps this data private to your account, does not use it for advertising or marketing, does not use it for any data mining unrelated to your use of the Application, does not use it to build user profiles, and does not sell it or share it with third parties.

You can revoke access at any time through your device's system settings, using the Apple Health app on iOS or the Health Connect settings on Android, which immediately stops the Application from reading or writing health data. You can delete the step data stored on the Service Provider's backend by deleting your account from within the Application, under Profile then Account, which permanently removes your account and all associated data. You can also contact g@computergobeep.org for help with a deletion request.

Third Party Access

The Service Provider stores the account and progress data you create in the Application, including the health metrics described above, on its own backend hosted by Supabase so the Application works across your devices. This account data is kept private to you and is not anonymized. Separately, the Service Provider periodically transmits aggregated and anonymized usage data to the analytics providers listed below to help improve the Application. The Service Provider shares your information with third parties only in the ways described in this privacy statement.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Privacy Policy about handling data. Below are the links to the Privacy Policy of the third-party service providers used by the Application:

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
  • when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Website Analytics

The Glow Pact website at glowpact.fit uses analytics on the personalization quiz pages (the URLs that begin with /quiz) so the Service Provider can measure quiz completion rates, understand which marketing campaigns drive sign ups, and improve the funnel before paid traffic begins.

The website sets first-party cookies that keep your quiz session continuous across page refreshes and tabs:

  • hypna_anonymous_id: a randomly generated identifier for the browser session.
  • hypna_quiz_session_id: a randomly generated identifier for the current quiz attempt.
  • hypna_attribution: a JSON cookie that stores marketing parameters from the URL you arrived on (such as utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, the landing URL, and the referring URL). This cookie is only written when you arrive with one of those parameters in the URL, and it lasts for 30 days.

The website sends quiz funnel events (such as quiz started, quiz step completed, offer viewed, and checkout started) to two analytics providers. These events contain the identifiers above plus the marketing parameters from the attribution cookie. They contain the quiz step keys and the persona result key, rather than the text of your quiz answers.

  • Mixpanel is used for funnel analytics on the website. The Service Provider uses a separate Mixpanel project for the website from the one used by the mobile Application.
  • Meta Pixel is used for ad measurement and remarketing. Meta Pixel is loaded only on the /quiz pages, and Meta sets its own _fbp and _fbc cookies on those pages to support ad measurement.

You can opt out of Meta Pixel tracking through your Meta ad preferences and you can clear cookies in your browser at any time to remove the identifiers above.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains. Data transmitted between the Application and the Service Provider's backend is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and access to stored data is restricted to your authenticated account and to authorized personnel and processors who need it to operate the service. The Service Provider retains your data only for as long as needed to provide the service, as set out in the Data Retention Policy below.
